If you have always loved painting graffiti and have decided you would love to find a job in the field, there are many types of jobs you can do. Here are just a few of them.

 

Get an art degree -- Before you start looking for a job as a graffiti artist, though, be sure to get an art degree first.

 

Many of the companies hiring graffiti artists require an art degree, as they want artists that are fully trained in many different art media. Get your degree and you will not only be more marketable, but you will also be paid more money.

 

Art teacher -- As graffiti has become a popular thing nowadays, more and more kids want to learn how to do it.

 

Set yourself up at a local art school as a graffiti art teacher and start teaching others how to do what you can.

 

Working in event management -- Several large event management companies hire graffiti artist to paint murals for clients, to run workshops on graffiti art at the events they run or to do a live demonstration of how graffiti art works.

 

These can be lucrative jobs as well as be quite stable, so looking for an event management company to hire you may be where you should first start your job search.

 

Working in corporate advertising -- Many advertising agencies nowadays use graffiti artists to help create advertising for their clients. Some clients love the art medium so much they use it in all their TV and print commercials.
